the exhibition connection by frank glanz is built around a simple yet profound idea: every work of art is an encounter. an encounter between the artist and the viewer. between the image and memory. between what appears before our eyes and what, through that image, comes alive within us. the works of frank glanz do not merely ask to be looked at.
they ask to be experienced.

the first connection takes place through the eyes.
the extraordinary precision of the painting, the light, the colour, the richness of detail and the harmony of the compositions draw the viewer into each work. a rose, a seashell, the moon, a bird’s nest, a banana plant, a landscape: elements of nature are transformed into images of great intensity, suspended between reality and symbolism. nothing appears accidental. even the frames, an integral part of glanz’s artistic language, do not merely define the boundaries of the work. they expand its space and become part of its narrative. beauty, in the painting of frank glanz, is never an end in itself.
it is an invitation to look more deeply.

the second connection passes through the heart.

between science and spirituality. between the visible and the invisible. between time and that which seems to transcend it. even where no human figure is present, the human being remains at the centre of the experience. present in the flower, the stone, the moon, the nest, the light and the landscape.
nature becomes a mirror of our inner world.

from this perspective, art does not offer definitive answers. rather, it opens questions. questions about meaning, identity, beauty, love and transience. these are questions that cannot simply be resolved, but must be encountered and lived. and perhaps this is one of the deepest functions of art: to open inner spaces.
