kleine galerie
short review
recently, the clubhouse of the klopein golf course has also been serving as an exhibition space, until september 21, for works by hildegard cerncic, an art teacher from klagenfurt in linz. her oil-flow technique is quite similar to watercolor. however, only those works are truly interesting in which she does not depict nature itself, but rather the experience of nature.
an untouched carinthian world in vibrant colors can still be seen this week in the krumpendorf town hall: transformed into watercolors by inge gumhalter-cagal, a “newcomer” painter whose perspective focuses exclusively on the beautiful sides of the region, turning the “traversed landscapes” into a declaration of love.
frank glanz, a native of salzburg and an interior architect, rides the wave of embellished aesthetics: the small gallery in the klagenfurt town hall presents his “magical realistic paintings,” in which the exaggerated highlights almost seem like magic, considering the financial success of such polished craftsmanship.
